|
|
Alright, guys, it's time to start making decks! I've made the four different templates. Here's a little list of stuff just so everything is clear:
-Post a thread in the "Deck claim" forum titled "[user] claiming [band name / member / whatever]"
-Include all the info I include in mine (which I will post after this)
-Wait until I reply to the post before starting the deck (because I'm suddenly remembering a lot of stuff I want to say about the different decks)
-Once you've finished that deck:
a. Go to the TCG's Photobucket
b. Start a new folder inside the "Cards" folder with the deck name (ex: "Nyappy")
c. Upload the cards in order, with the Mastered badge last
d. Post back in your thead with all the cards and we can check them out
e. Once you've done all that, you can claim another deck and start on it
-Each deck consists of 20 cards and a mastered badge and is labled with that card's number
-Don't use any images from PVs for anything other than that PV's deck (that means don't use images from PVs for Group or Member decks)
-Blue cards are Group cards
-Red cards are Member cards
-Green cards are PV cards
-Yellow cards are Special cards
-Save all cards as .pngs, not as .gifs.
-Card dimensions are 65 px wide, 85 px high, and 72 psi (pixels per inch)
-If there are enough different group and individual member photos of a band (enough to not use anything from the same photo twice, even in different decks), then we'll do individual member decks and member decks using only group photos, though if there aren't enough photos, the deck will just be a group deck using some combination of group and individual member photos.
-The only difference between Mastered badges and the other cards is the mastered badges will have an "M" instead of the card number.
-Some text may need to be rasterized and touched up.
-The text type is Arial, the card number text size is 8 and the card title text size is 9.
-All text on cards should be in CAPS.
-Reply to this post telling me what format you want the templates in, and I'll get them to you (though I'm hoping everyone wants .psds and is using Photoshop and/or ImageReady)
-You may also reply to peoples' posts to donate images for them to use when making their deck
-Reply to this post with any questions you have or with anything you think I'm forgetting
Let's get, started, everyone! |

For the time being I'll be working in Paint Shop Pro but I can access .psd files through it. I've already got the template from the staff e-mail too~ ^^ _________________
